“Pieces & Parts” was conceived as a musical journal. Pieces & Parts No.1 is the first track of this journal and shows its fluidity from start to finish. Befitting to this literary and experimental music, the cover art which reinforces unity and provokes a spur of imagination was inspired by natural and primitive emotions. The human connection to earth is felt through the use of organic material in the typography of No.1, its muddled characters and its effortlessly, spontaneously self-created state are combined with Pieces & Parts’ scattered typographic composition. The image, consistent with the essence of the track’s sound, was designed as a reflection of its innateness and fluidity.
